About Us
Welcome to Building Bridges Family Recovery At Building Bridges Family Recovery, we believe healing happens not in isolation, but in connection with ourselves, our families, and our communities. Located in the heart of Humboldt County, serving Eureka and the surrounding areas, our mission is to support families impacted by Substance Use Disorder (SUD) through compassionate, holistic, and family-centered care. We understand that addiction doesn’t affect just one person; it touches entire families, often leaving behind pain, confusion, and broken trust. Our goal is to walk alongside families on their journey to healing, offering evidence-based support, peer connection, and a safe space to rebuild relationships and rediscover hope. As part of our services, we’re excited to offer a Social Support Club; a welcoming space where individuals and families can relax, connect, and build healthy new relationships that support lasting recovery. The club will host regular family bonding activities, social events, and creative outlets to provide positive, fun, and sober experiences. We believe that recovery is strengthened through meaningful connection and shared joy, and we want to offer more options for socializing in a supportive, substance-free environment. Through education, counseling, support groups, community partnerships, and family bonding activities we help families break the cycle of addiction and grow stronger together. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or continuing your recovery journey, we are here to build bridges between hurt and healing, between fear and hope, and most importantly, between individuals and their loved ones. Together, we can foster resilience, restore connection, and help families in Humboldt County thrive again.
